1. Building Fund
The Branch Building Fund has increased to more than RM11,000 to date
(not inclusive of interest earned) with a generous donation of RM300.00
from Mr. Laurence Poh, RM6.00 from a previous trip led by Mr. Ng Chang
Chai and other donations and profit from the coming Funday. However,
our efforts at fund raising will continue through the sale of tee-shirts,
post cards (RM3.00 per set of 6), trip collections and donations. If you
wish to make any donations please send your cheques/money order/bank draft
payable to Malaysian Nature Society to the Chairman at the branch address.
Any amount, however small, is most welcome. All donations to the MNS are
tax-deductible for this year 2000. Please ensure that your name is correctly
spelled as in your identity card.
2. MNS Perak Branch Office
The premise has been painted but we would need office equipment and
furniture such as tables, chairs, ceiling fans, air-conditioning units,
filing cabinets and cupboards to make it functional. Hopefully members,
especially corporate ones, would come forward to donate them to the branch.
Please contact the Branch Chairman or any committee member to obtain a
list of such requirements and inform us of your intended donation.
