Welcome to the Belum page. This page is set up specially to keep everybody informed of all the facts and happenings in the Belum forest area especially after it has been highlighted in the press about the possible threat to a beautiful piece of wilderness that is a treasure trove of many species of flora and fauna as well as other non-living but beautiful natural phenomena. Special thanks to the MNS Kedah Branch for bringing Belum's plight to everyone's attention.

This is part of a concerted effort to form a Belum Action Group to safeguard this area from further degradation and future destruction. You have any news, views and ideas about Belum please contact the Webmaster or Perak MNS Chairman Mr Cheaw Hon Ming.
