The Frog White's tree frogs are large frogs that tend to appear obese.  They are calm frogs and make a good first pet, if you are prepared for the responsibility of owning a frog.  They should grow to be about 4 1/2 to 5 inches long.  They can be housed with other frogs, but only other tree frogs that are about the same size.
Housing A glass aquarium between 15-25 gallons should be sufficient.  A terrestrial or  arboreal tank will work the best.  You should mist the tank daily with stale, dechlorinated water.  You should put in a water dish that is 6-8 inches wide and 4-5 inches deep.  For substrate, you should use pine bark or sand, but only use sand that is fully digestable.
Feeding These frogs can eat most large insects, such as crickets, roaches, beetles, moths, superworms, etc.  Use calcium/viamin suppliments to make sure your frog is healthy.  Do not overfeed these frogs, as they will eat anything you put in the tank!
Heating You can use undertank heating pads or heat lamps, but the temperature inside the tank should be 80ºF during the day, and 70ºF at night.  Do not put the tank in direct sunlight.
Other White's tree frogs have a deep call, and can live up to 15 years in captivity.  They are also some of the only frogs that actually don't mind being held.
