Introduction

I went backpacking in Ireland from 12 September 1997 to 27 September 1997, that is 16 days. None of my Singaporean friends wanted to go because they wanted to stay home in Singapore with their family. So I went alone, though, I was not neccessary alone when I was travelling. I got to know lots of people from different countries - Japan, Korea, China, Germany, USA, Switzerland, France, Australia and of course the local Irish people. I shall not bore you with any more words. Let's go right into the pictures!

Couagh Patrick - Ireland's Holy Mountain
Couagh Patrick Every year in July, the Catholics would climb up the mountain bare-footed. Now, the way up is not easy. The pathway up the mountain is steep and rocky. I, ah-hem, being such a brave person, of course climbed up the mountain... with boots on. :o)
Couagh Patrick Here are some friends that I got to know. The guy from the left, Christian, is from Switzerland and the other guy, Charles, is from L.A. I climbed up the mountain together with him. The mountain behind us is Coaugh Patrick - Ireland's Holy Mountain.
