This World Is Yours
This world is yours, ya know that?? Well in Pokmon at least. It is your world to play how you like but follow the simple rules that the creature made. Don?t go with the flow ans be influenced by others and make simuliar decks, make your own, the one you and only you like. If no one else likes it, they can go kiss a cow, ?cause it is your deck and your own personal style. I know oyu are probably saying ?but what about that Chansey Flow deck????, well.... i created that deck BEFORE anyone else thought of the idea i just needed a few cards so i got themt he last couple of weeks of year 1 of the Pokmon League. I can gurantee you it took my friends by surprize but as always, my friend quickly built a deck strong enough to take it on and thus i now had less of a chance to beat his deck, but i loved the challenge. All my decks from here on will NOT be architypes except for a few in which i would liek to try out to get the feel of certain Pokmon pertaining to that deck. This will only be a trial period and so should it for you if you really wish to be a Pokmon Master at the TCG. I know at the ECSTS and WCESTS, the game was broken wht many wiggy decks and Haymakers floating around beating the crap out of other decks fast and sweet. The new extention of Prop 15/3c was supposed to let new decks arise and the game not broken. Well, it didn?t happen. The big ballon and Hays dominated the day. the onyl deck i saw that wasn?t either was a deck called Rain Dance. It was perfect for the Prop 15/3c because it followed every rule and allowed room for more energy and Pokmon needed to bring out the big shell. i myself would?ve over concered this with a Dark Dragonair deck that could bring the heavy hitters into play on turn two without using all your trainers in your hand in one turn. Plus since the count of cards was limited to 3 each except basic energy, it seemed harder to get otu that oen needed card, from a Gust Of Wind to a nice little Plus Power. Add a couple of dragonites and the game is broken, to me!! i like that a lot (^_^). i mean wouldn?t you, if it happened to you ?? So let your instincts tell you what to do and not some kids that think you should do something this way and that way. Plus, you get a whole week till the next session of the Pokmon League or even a tourny, seeing as though they go about once a week. So in that time you can rebuild, try again and woop some butt next time. Here is the list i use when making a deck, i donno if you want ot follow or not, but if oyu do, your deck could be good enough to beat me, ya never know:
1. Build a farely well designed deck and take on a bunch of people at the Pokmon League.
2. That night, while still fresh in my mind, make an idea up to conqur those new deck your ?friends? at the League have.
3. Test it the next day and keep thinking about the deck all day, just don?t let it get into school work, i mean that would be bad.
4. Ask your real friends to challenge you with your New deck you made the past 2 nights and tell him to look for any thing that might help the deck, if you agree on anything, change it!
5. Take on everyone you canat the League and make adjustments abotu every half hour or so and then take on the best person at the League last, and ask him to check it our for you too.
6. Make adjustments that night and try to figure out if you need any cards and make a list and ask who you can for them before the League.
7. Play test against your own decks.
8. Change a couple of cards and see if that helps while battling your own decks.
9. Make final changes( if any ) and ask your friend to challenge you and see how it fairs.
10. if good, keep, if not, fix again!! and try as hard as you can at the League and take on the best player at your League and again ask him for help on how to fix it more ( if possible)
Those are the steps i more or less use, btu you can bend them and alter them jsut tad bit. i do sometimes!! And remember, this world is yours! Don?t let it slip out of possession or your ?friends? will rule it and then you will be forced to follow them and then, only way to get it back, is to play the game YOUR WAY, then the world, is in your hands, once again....Peace out... and may the Elite Four live on....
