The New Roof
|
The new roof is a dimensional shingle roof (TAMKO Heritage Series in the Painted Desert color scheme). The drip edge is white, and future plans include painting the trim white, the gables cream, and the doors and shutters a wedgewood-type shade of blue. Of course, we could always change our minds!

This is the back door off the kitchen. This faces east onto our driveway, and as a result gets quite a beating from the sun. The new door is insulated with dual-paned glass, and I can really feel a difference when I'm standing in the kitchen. It seals tightly, and really keeps out the heat.

The Historic Stove
|
This quaint little stove is all gas, and can be a pain in the rear to light, but once it gets going ... well, nothing cooks like gas! The knob that fell off was on the burner cover, so we've replaced the knobs on BOTH of the burner covers, and they look great.
