Jackson Browne once wrote a song titled Running On Empty. While the lyrics are self-relating and magical, the title alone is parallel to my past. A Daily Reprieve is my opportunity to share bits and pieces of a lifestyle scarred with hopelessness, addiction, fear, and anger. A behavior that was not only killing me, but had caused painful repercussion to those I came into contact with. It's also a story that focuses on the power of surrendering. The legacy of a man who wins a daily triumph through spirituality, acceptance, and whole heartedly surrendering. Follow me into the pages of freedom and the paradox of defeat.
