* The ACT-IR3S+ - Infrared Wireless Interface device utilizes Sharp's ASK protocol, it handles speeds of 9600 and 19.2k bps for a distance of up to 100 cm.  


* With an automatic power down feature after 6 minutes of no activity, the 
  battery life is greatly extended. This auto shut-off feature is automatically disabled when the unit is powered by the optional AC adapter, reflecting our thoughtful design approach.

* Power on indicator light (green LED) intelligently shows the modes 
  of operation: 
  --Receiving, the LED will blink steadily when the IR3S successfully 
    receives the printing data.
  --Buffer full, the LED will blink rapidly when the IR3S+ internal buffer is full or the printer is not ready (paper out, off line, power off, etc.).

The ACT-IR200L has the same functionality as Sharp's new CE-IR4 but with the 
following added features:

It's 1/3 the size of CE-IR4 and the IR head can be attached to any desktop location using 
Velcro.  It requires NO power, battery, or AC adapter! The IR-200L Works with 
Rupp3.01 software.  It is also compatible with the Windows 95-IR driver which is 
distributed by Microsoft for free.  

* The IR-200L Features Dual-mode protocols (Sharp's ASK and IrDA)
* The IR-200L Runs off of RS-232 power only!!
* The IR-200L Will be ready for the next generation of IR devices that use 
  the IrDA transfer protocol.  This is technology that you will use in the 
  future.

   The IR-200L is compatible with the Zaurus using Clipboard Link, Sharp's DEU, and Rupplynx 3.01
