REVIEW: "Z-Apps Video Training Manual" from RUPP Technology Corporation

Encouraged by the excellent quality ad informative contents of "SHARP Zaurus
Video Manual" from Rupp Technology Corporation, I decided to review their
second video - "Z-Apps Video Training Manual" (ZVTM).  This video provides
step-by-step instructions on how to setup and use five premiere add-on
application for SHARP Zaurus K-PDA.  These applications, developed by and
available from RUPP, are: Z-Finance (personal finances manager), Z-Em@il
(SMTP/POP3 Internet mail client), Z-Calc (set of powerful calculators,
Z-Flash (edutainment software based on a flash card training idea) and
Z-Games (three games: Draw Poker, Code Breaker and Domination).

The video is approx. 1.5 hours long and comes with the same ingenious index
system (on-screen timer and associated index card), which also accompanied
"SHARP Zaurus Video Manual".  As with the previous training course, also this
one is conducted by David Willis.

The trainer takes time to familiarize the viewer with all applications
covered by this video.  He starts with the description of the purpose of each
applet and its interface, and then takes us on a detailed visual tour of its
features.  The tour usually starts with explanation of how to setup each
application and then continues with presentation of all major components.
 The training includes a lot of examples, so that the user can learn how to
use each software package in a real life situation.

As with the previous RUPP' video, I found this tape very entertaining and an
excellent way of learning how to install, setup and use all these fantastic
applications which expand functionality of my Zaurus. I found it much more
interesting to sit in front of my TV, with Zaurus in my hand, following
straightforward explanations and examples of the video trainer, than going on
my own through the printed manuals.

In summary I would highly recommend this video to those users who purchased
any of the add-on applications covered in this video.  I would also recommend
it to anybody who is considering to purchase one or more of these applets,
but would like to learn more about them before doing so.
