Steve,

YES-it will keep them permanently until deleted. It is not a bad thing,
though. For example, I am an American living in Belgium. For tax purposes, I
must keep track of my working days spent in Belgium vs. other countries. It is
very handy that my Z keeps all those appointments--I can simply scroll through
the calender and have a complete record of my travels at year's end.

Hi Jim,

I dial up Compuserve on their local Brussels number 215-0530. It supports
speeds up to 14.4 (28.8 support is not available in Belgium). I have never had
any connection problems. From the day I unpacked my Z2, input my ID and
password in the setup screens, it has worked every time. Also with the new
plug for weather and stock quotes.

For the physical connection: Belgium uses a 5-pin telephone plug not found
anywhere else in Europe. But the end that plugs into the telephone is just
like a standard American clip-type plug, so the easiest way for a visiting
Yank would be to bring a phone line extender (i.e. one of those plastic 1-inch
long pieces that have a female phone plug at both ends).

If you want more details, let me know.

Nathan
