This
lab gave students an opportunity to compare the cooling effects of several
liquids as they evaporated. They also observed the absorption &
evaporation rate of drops of each liquid on the surface of paper towel.
Temperatures were recorded every 5 seconds as the liquids evaporated.
Absorption rate & other data were recorded when the drop tests were
conducted. The data were graphed for easier comparison.
