The New Everlasting Heart Territory are a group of packs, clans, pods, herds, and flocks of various species. They play over a number of message boards, and communication has a time delay of from half an hour to several days, which allows for a little 'head cooling' in between posts.

They are disctincly devided into the 'good guys' and 'bad guys'. There are lightwolves, and darkwolves, and both are almost always played by real people, not NPCs. The technology level is extremely high, as is the magic level. Magic is sometimes but not always focoussed on an object, and technology and magic often meet and twine, creating a very interesting enviroment. Some wolves have special powers beyong the normal magic that many wolves have. Some are wolves 'of the earth', elementals, who have different, magical forms. Some are shapeshifters. Some have special talents that mostly effect one area of their magic. Some have magical animal familiars. So there is quite a variety of magic. And some have had special in-game training.

Currently, the most used boards for wolves are the 4 clans and the Learner's pack. There are two clans of 'Lightwolves', the Killers and the Changers, one of 'Darkwolves', the Death Makers, and one of neutral healers, the Healers. The Learner's pack is a neutral pack for the pups. The light and dark wolves are enimies, and almost always fighting.

All the clans, packs, and even the groups for other creatures are in the same continuity. Though mostly the wolves stick to themselves, they may role-play with magical and real creatures. This multi-board world works well, particularirlly in this context.

There have been some social problems in this game recently, though members are working to heal their sores. Power-gaming, or controlling others characters, has also been an issue lately. So has invinicibility. Magic has in the past risen to the point of riducule. Wolves who die usually come back to life, so the fact that death is not at all uncommon is not a major IC problem, though it causes OOC contriversy. Despite all this, the thrall of magic and technology is still strong as ever.

If you look at the history, you'll notice that for a while, everyone was at one set of boards, the Everlasting Heart Territory. That closed, and though the same story is carried out in the New Everlasting Heart Territory, there are many other sites on the same basic theme.
