The Tosa Inu
The story of Akira begins in 1995 when she was born on February 17th.
Akira Mitchiko is out of Happoh Arashi Kampai v.d. Akkelei X Mitchiko
Benibana v.d. Akkelei.
Her first show appeararnce was in December '95. At the age of 9 months
she earned her first 1 VG. The second show she did was also earned
with a 1 VG. The shows after these where much better: from March'96
untill date she is over twenty times Best of Breed with more than
thirthy times Excellent. She also won the following titles:
Dutch & International Ch., German Bundessiegerin '96,
Amsterdam Winster '96+'97+'98!
Akira got her first litter in June '98. She was bred to DogStar's
Yamato. Her puppies are exactly the same as she is: very gentle
towards other dogs or people, absolutely not aggressive (some people
like to see an aggressive Tosa, That's O.K., but not unneccesary
aggressive!). Maybe it's because they are born and raised inside
my house; they are not kenneled.
Akira is, in my opinion, very protective. She has proved it to me
a few times. When people are moving around the house she immediatly
bark to warn us. I prefer her more than a male Tosa, although they
may be more impressive.
We are since December '97 on the Internet, and the Molosserworld
has a link to our site. Our site has been moved since last January and
you can use the button below to visit it. This page will be
frequently updated with lots of new pix. Of all of our Tosa's, at
home, in the park or at dogshows. Visit this page and enjoy it!
As I said in the beginning of this story, Akira's birthday is on the
17th of February. To be nominated and to be chosen for the "Dog of the
Month" title will be a birthday present, from all of you who likes
Tosa's, to her. I think she deserves it, because to me there is no
Tosa like Akira.
