Bronco's real name: Henry von Nordniedersachsen
His mother: Europasieger Barisha von Nordniedersachsen
His father: Int.Ch. Swiss Ch. German Ch. Butcher the Red PowerPack
The story about Bronco are told by his owner Connie Bork of Denmark.
Bronco reached only two years of age before he died by a poisoning, fast and almost without pain.
Because of his death in a early age he only sired five puppies, born in Sweden. One of the puppies moved to Australia, one to Norway,
one to Denmark and two stayed in Sweden. All of them are promising and soon they will celebrate their first birthday.
At 18 months old Bronco became the FCI Europe and Copenhagen Winner, out of 18 participating Dogues, several of them Champions.
Bronco had a very good temperament and was always happy. Because of this he had lots of people who did admire him. Even at the BIS competition at an International Dogshow he did steal the show, laying on the back
with all four feets kicking air and begging for some tender scratcing. It was not that kind of behavior the judges wanted for a BIS winner, but the did steal a lot of hearts instead.
Bronco were kind to almost everything and everyone, humans and animals alike. Often we were walking in the forest together with 6-8 Dogues de Bordeaux and never did any of them want to make trouble.
When we traveled abroad he won the shows almost everytime, and despite his young age he got two res. Cac
and two res. cacib, one in Longchamp, Paris and one in Germany. Both these countries have alot of dogs at their shows. He also got
five Danish Certs and three Cacib.
Bronco were a very atletic dog, he enjoyed swimming and to play and run, both in the forest and at the beach.
Bronco fast gained world recognition and many people wanted him to mate their bitches, in several countries.
Bronco is the best that ever have happened to us, he was the dog of our dreams, the best friend we could ever wish for.
Even if the life goes on there will always be a empty hole.
The good that did come out of this is that we now have a special and specific goal in our breeding; breed for typical, atletic,
phycical stable and massive, just like Bronco. To us he will always be as close to the prototype of a Dogue male as possible.
Thank you that we got to know you Bronco, we will never forget you, our first Dogue de Bordeaux............

Do YOU want to nominate a Molosser for Dog of the Month? It does not have to be a dog who have achieved alot at shows, other reasons count as much to be Dog of the Month.
Send me suggestions!
