The Presa Canario "Havoc"
At only 10 months of age "Havoc" won Best of Breed/Best of Show at the first PCCA American Presa Canario spesiality show 1998, awarded by Judge Antonio Gomez and
Judge Augustin Lopez Melo- Official CEPRC judges. An incredible result for such a young dog and it tells us
quite much about Havoc's qualities.
Havoc is owvned by Steve and Carla Walker of Hooligan Presas in USA. His official U.S. name is: La Jacha's Wreaking Havoc; Kennel name: Terco De La Jacha.
Havoc's breeder: Jacinto Martin, La Jacha Kennels, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Date of birth: 10. October 1998.
Sire: CH. Urco, who was Dog of the Month at Molosserworld in April 1998.
Dam: Tirma.
Havoc as a young pup. At right together with his father, the legendary Ch. Urco.
As mentioned above, Havoc's father is CH. Urco, a very popular Sire because his great "type". Urco is known for
transmitting his qualities and type very well. Havoc's Dam is Tirma, a bitch of great temperament. Both Havoc and his sister Tirma II, living in Sweden, already shows
very good type and prey drive and Steve and Carla hope to send Havoc to Red Star Kennels for
protection training when he's older. Steve and Carla also plans to do a little showing with Havoc next year, if he not is under training at that time.
Havoc will be recieving
his conformation papers in a few months from the CEPRC (Club Espanol Del
Presa Canario) the OFFICIAL Spanish Presa breed club, delagate to the RRC, the Spanish Kennel Club
(Real Sociedad Central de Formento de las Razas Caninas en Espana).

Hovoc is the baby in the house of Steve and Carla, since they got two older Presas and under Carla tells with her own words about Hav's relationship with their other 2
Presas;
"Basically, he is a goofball around them, and that keeps him out of
trouble. But occasionally he needs to test himself against our older
neutered male in particular. Luckily I keep some first aid supplies in the
house. Nothing serious has happened yet, and they do calm down after a few
minutes and go back to being "partners in crime". Our adult female has had
the hardest time adjusting to the puppy. It took her several months to get
to the point that he could walk near her without her growling at him.
Now she's realized that he's just great as a wrestling partner (when she's
in the mood). He is starting to show suspicion of strangers, but is still friendly in
social situations, as he should be. He is also starting to exhibit a little
aggression towards other dogs. But since he's bottom of the pack, he seems
to let the older dogs do all the talking, and only shows this when he's
alone."
Steve and Carla purchased Havoc
through Elias Rodriguez, on PRESA CANARIO ON THE WEB, and they highly recommend Elias for anyone considering buying a pup this way. The pictures on Havoc as a pup also comes from Elias site
and Molosserworld wants to thank him for let us use them.
