The Tosa Inu Chimbutsu
Hi,
I`m Chimbutsu, the female of the month.
I was born on October 28, 1996 in New Jersey.
In February 1997 my new owners, Oke and B�rbel, came to New Jersey, to buy a Tosa.
I was their choice. Certainly they know allready at that point, that I was a special Tosapup.
They wanted to buy me at all means, because when they saw me they fall direct in love with me, because I was so beautiful and cute.
So they took me with them to Germany and they gave me the name "Chimbutsu",
that means rarity.
I knew pretty soon, that I would become the "No 1" here in Lemgo.
After a long, unmistakable discussion with the other animals which live in the household, Great Danes
and the tomcat "Fritz", I was elected to be the leader. I`m still proud about it, since I was only 3,5 month old when the election took place.
(I read in different magazines about the character of Tosa and how they should behave. I was
amused about the articles, because I behave so differently. I like playing with other big and
small bitches. I even share a kennel with my best girlfriend "Dorle", a Great Dane. We also get
along great on our walks. Oke and B�rbel talk about "socialization", but it`s just a good
friendship between women.)
1998 I have got my registration in the german Molosser Club.
In the beginning of 1999 I went successed through the club eximination, there they are looking for soundness and standard confirmation.
Afterwards I got the permission to get puppies.
In March 1999 I have had a date with the male "Fire Mountain Sir T" in Berlin. He is a nice and goodlooking Tosa.
And when we met, he fall in love with me and I wanted him as father for my puppies.
"Sir T" trieed to mate me, but he didn`t know how to do, so I had to show him the right technique. And it did work.
The next 9 weeks wasn`t so easy for me, because I wasn`t any longer so agile and I
got thicker and thicker.
In may the 29nt 1999 I got 13 puppies. Really, I got 13 puppies, 10 males and 3 females.
All the puppies were healhty and one was prettier than the other.
Everybody told me that I am the best mother in the world! I think that is right!
That makes me very proud, and I had much fun to see my puppies growing up and learning things for their lives.
When Miss Busy (Sakuras Ying), another Tosa female from our clan, got her puppies in the beginning of august,
I helped her to raise her puppies, because I have got a lot of experience by raising up my own litter such a short time ago.
All my puppies lives already with their new families, only my daughter "Arashii" will stay here in our home.
I`m happy that my puppies will visit me from time to time.
In fact of that I`m a "SUPERMOTHER", Oke and B�rbel promised me, that I will have soon again the chance to look after puppies.
I want to thank all the people, who let my dreams come true, so that I got the title
"Dog of The Month April 2000" by Molosserworld.
