CONTRASTS
Natural contrasts are everywhere!
Each hour prevalent....here and there!
Birds, that fly and fish, that swim,
Forests so dense and some so thin!
Rushing streams, near ponds so still,
Butterflies dancing, over the hill!
While lazy beetles just sit there,
Flowers brilliant, with colours so fair!
Ugly creatures, with bulging eyes,
Bite and give you a painful surprise!
Snakes, that slither under rock and tree,
With a lofty nest, for birds so free!
Nature, in a wide, interesting range,
Renewed daily and creating a change!
Some tall! Some not! Some climbing, too!
Millions of contrasts, for me and you!
Wild animals of every shape and kind!
No matter where you look, you'll find,
Fur, scales and feathers...or just plain!
All so different! None quite the same!
Just like humans, in a long parade,
Surprising costumes, that can't be made!
Contrasts, that encourage us to see,
Just how exciting Nature can be!!
