HORSING AROUND

Morgan and Molly tried for days, in vain,
To sing a few notes, but 'twas always the same!
"Hee Haw! Hee Haw!" is all that came!
Their coarse, horse melody was heard by all,
In fact, all the way to the new, City Hall!
When someone asked, what they did sing,
More "Hee Haws" began to sting!
Folks held their ears, or donned earmuffs!
They all felt, that ENOUGH was ENOUGH!
However, one day....the tune did change!
To everyone's delight, they sang.....

"HOME ON THE RANGE"!
