Nature and Spirituality are always in tune.....
With your "inner self", on a warm day in June!
It is relaxing, in front of a crackling fire,
With a lifetime friend, you can truly admire!
It's watching a sunset, at the end of your day!
Observing cute puppies, as they romp and play!
It's walks through the woods, in the early morn,
And holding a little child, who's just been born!
It's smelling fresh bread, in mother's kitchen today!
It's rocking, on the porch, in the usual way!
It's catching snowflakes, on your tongue, in December!
These are the lovely sensations, that you remember!
It's praying and thanking GOD, for each blessing!
It's Thanksgiving Dinner, with turkey and dressing!
It's holding hands, under a bright, Harvest Moon,
Or waiting for your child, to come home soon!
It's feeling warmth, from a caring touch,
And realizing, that you enjoy life so much!
It's being alive, with Nature all around,
It's feeling rich soil, as you plant in the ground!
It's picking wild flowers, for a special guest!
It's knowing you've tried and given your very best!
It's appreciating all of the kindnesses shown!
It's recalling names, of all the people you've known!
Spirituality is so medicinal....so very nice!
It is a free gift from GOD...there is no price!
Reading poetry and listening to song,
Make me feel spiritual, all day long!
Thinking about GOD and such lovely things,
Restores my soul....and spreads my wings!!
