PATTERNS IN NATURE

Nature has a million ways,
To create and decorate, all of our days!
Sometimes huge and sometimes just miniature,
Always colourful and interesting.....this is for sure!
Unique....everchanging....designs, along the shore,
Shells to gather, but you can always find more!
Leaf patterns, that dance in the noonday sun,
A gift, from generous Nature, for everyone!
Insect wings thrashing, against the clear sky!
You can imagine patterns, as they gather and fly!
Dragonflies, zooming...up...down... back and forth,
Some soaring east....some gliding north!
At night, when everything is peaceful and still,
Little fireflies light up my shadowy hill!
Like Christmas bulbs, that flash and glow,
Millions of them and I'll never know,
How this can be.....so strange it seems,
Can't be sure, that it's not just dreams!
If I could somehow harness, all of this,
My Hydro bill, I could then dismiss!
But, they need their freedom, just like me,
And so they continue, to be wild and free!
