QUESTIONS ABOUT LOVE

WHAT  IS  LOVE?

Is it something strange, mysterious and magic?
Or just temporary insanity...that is fierce....and tragic?

Is it another chance, to put someone you know first?
Do you feel very "special"....and later "cursed"?

Is it a great way, to get all of your personal needs met?
Is it just attention, money, power and all you can get?

A beautiful friendship, with a companion, who's true?
Is it being amused, when there's nothing better to do?

Is it many new places..faces...a collection of names?
Or being flirtatious and just playing risky games?

Is it reaching out, to others....with tender intent?
Or to give and give, until you're broken or bent?

Is it being a slave, to a selfish, demanding mate?
Then losing your identity and learning how to hate?

Is it choosing a partner and wishing to be superior?
Wanting to impress those you think are inferior?

Being moody and silent, with thoughts, that are hidden?
Is it sneaking around, to do things that are forbidden?

Is it romance, excitement and gentle words of love all day?
And then escaping, once REALITY gets in the way?

Is it loyalty, compassion, honesty and complete trust?
Always being responsible and doing what you must?

Is it O.K. for now...until you find something better?
Will you reconsider...and write a "Dear John" letter?

Is it being difficult and grumpy, as you grow old?
Is it pampering someone, when they've got a cold?

Is it being very selfish....or is it wanting to share?
Without being angry...because you just feel it's fair?

Will you try, to put others first and yourself last?
Will you leave all the problems in the ancient past?

Is TRUE LOVE spiritual and sent from above?
Sent by GOD in Heaven, with a lovely, white dove?
