Summer Garden

I visited her yard, and such a delight!
Everywhere, flowers....a wonderful sight!
Home, nestled in shrubs and shaded, too,
In the midst, of this very spectacular view!
Winding path, leading to a white gate!
But, stop and enjoy....take time.....wait!
Smell the delicate perfume, in the country air!
Listen to bees, that are humming there!
Choose the colours, that you admire most!
Check the snapdragons, near the gatepost!
Stand in the shade, of the lovely, old tree!
The one she planted, that came from me!
A yard, that is perfect, in every way,
Not just for now, but....for every new day!
Ever changing, with each new blossom,
Truly, this garden is just plain awesome!!
