FROM YOUNG TO OLD
 

From "YOUNG" to "OLD" takes some time!
With a little care, you reach it.....and it's sublime!
I'm an accumulation, of all I've felt, heard and seen,
All of the excitement and triumphs, that now seem,
So distant....but, with some deep introspection,
They're still a part of ME, with closer detection!
The steady rhythm, of my life, encompasses all,
And with patience and courage, I will not fall!
So, I will spread my wings and soar on high!
It is easy....now that I've learned how to fly!
My flight is smooth...no regrets...no bets!
Mind...Spirit...Soul...together can leap,
How can there ever be personal defeat?
A combination...free from loss....
Gaining insight...I dare not miss....
For knowledge is such, sweet, gentle bliss!
Human journals....from beginning to end,
And sometimes our stories can even blend!
Mostly alone, the words and phrases unfold,
Now, as in the days of old!
