Leipzig

This is a picture of Chris with our two Norweigen friends, Ida and Eli.  What's really important about this picture is not the picture itself, but the angle it is taken at.  Truly, it is a work of art.  After all, how else could I have gotten both the people and the background in such a gorgeous shot?  Amazing! (Sorry everyone but those in the picture, inside joke)

This is the same two girls with me this time.  We're at the train station, saying goodbye.  Evidence of the U2 concert last night is not hard to find (two of the three shirts, the echos of the closing song running around in my head).
An interesting story took place after Ida and Eli left.  As we hastily exchanged addresses, I handed them a wad of paper and I got what I thought was a wad of paper back.  Unfortunately, it was the wrong paper.  And so the Norweigens left Chris and I in Leipzig without our train tickets.  DOH!
We spent an hour explaining the condition to the manager of the train station, who managed to understand just enough to call Dresden looking for someone named "Fisher" (deviated from the word o"fficer", or train conductor).  Chris and I ended up just riding in the non-sleeping carts.
