I checked the Kentucky tax records of Warren Co for him, and tracked him through 1815 when he vanished (this was the year Allen Co. was formed from Warren Co., so from his POV, he probably stayed put and Warren Co. vanished, but never mind...) The appearance of Jonathan BRINSON in 1809 suggests he was a son of Stout, probably born about 21 years earlier (I think it was when they reached 21 that they had to start paying taxes), or in about 1788. Oh, and the "f" below is just a long "s", not really an "f"...
