We are lucky when it comes to lions in the Kruger. We have had good sightings almost every time we went. About 95% of these sightings were very early in the morning (bad news for people who like their sleep) We saw this magnificent beast near Pretoriuskop. He was extremely lazy, so much that we could drive up right next to him. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| A hair-raising experience | |||||||||||||||||||||||

This was the best sighting we had so far. There were approximately 20 lions including cubs. The three males had black manes. The male on the left stopped at Lorinda's window and looked into the car. Looking into those yellow eyes the glass suddenly appeared so thin. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
