I opened my email to see this adorable portrayal of "Louve" as a lupe. To say it made me smile would be an understatement. It made me giggle. I admit I am a neopets-aholic, so to see my character as a neopet was just perfect. She even got the little pink bow on the tail just right. *smiles*

I send tons of *hugs* to that dear Huskyteer for taking the time to color the design, and in the end make me smile - during a very rough time in my life. Husky, you are sooooo sweet & I feel so blessed to call you my friend. *more hugs*

The little wolfpup featured in this picture is a very special little wolf. I will not go into specifics as to who she is, but those who know me well will instantly know who this picture portrays. *looks to the sky and whispers something* She has a special place in my heart, and although she has sadly left this earthly plane, I promise her she will NEVER leave my heart or thoughts. Love & miss you, sweetie!

I send MANY *hugs* and endless gratitude to Huskyteer for drawing such a special image for me. Know that it helps with the healing process, dear friend. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring and for all of the support. This picture shall always be given a place of honor & cherished. You are such an amazing friend. *morehugclings*

"Jingle Tails, Jingle Tails, Jingle All The Way.."(Holiday Pup)

*joyful giggles*
(added to site: 12-03-03)

Drawn by that very talented Alice Dydren :) Art copyright of Alice Dryden. Character copyright of Louve.

Click the NEW pawprint button to see piece of gift art that I was also truly THRILLED to receive.

You may recognize this adorable little pup as the same one that stars in the "Happy Birthday Pup" picture. And you would be right- it is the same little gal.

The story behind this version of the little darling was that I was soooo in love with the pup that Huskyteer had drawn for my b-day. So I asked her if I could commission her to do a few changes, so the little gal could show off her holiday best :)

She sweetly complied, and was so sweet to do this for me at no cost. *hug*

When I saw the finished picture, I was soooooooo thrilled. Husky took my idea and ran with it. I had asked for a santa hat, but the mistletoe was all her idea. And it is JUST perfect!!!

Looks like my little pup-self is waiting for my tiger to come along and give me a smooch. *giggles* And I love how her eye is looking up, as if she is trying to see the mistletoe dangling from her tail. I can not help but smile looking at this picture. :)

As for the caption (which I LOVE the chosen font, very festive!!)- well that was all Husky's idea too. I could not stop giggling when I saw it, as my trademark is not only a pink-bowed tail, but also tail chimes. So, my tail *DOES* jingle when it wags..toooooo PERFECT!!!

So, I send another heartfelt THANK YOU to that dear Husky for this sweet gift art. It will never fail to make me smile. You are very generous and I am thankful for our friendship!!

*hugs her husky pal, as "Jingle Bells" plays - thanks to her wagging musical tail*

"The Painted Wolfess Gets a Group Birthday Hug"

*happy smiles*
(added to site: 12-02-03)

Drawn by my dear friend, Razzek!! "Anubis" & "Razzek" are copyrights of Razzek. "Louve" character copyright of Louve. "Chik'ki" character copyright of Chik'ki.

Click the NEW pawprint button to see another surprise piece of birthday gift art that I was also SOOOO THRILLED to receive.

If you have seen the picture of Anubis, by my dear friend Razzek, below - then you will recognize the style of this SWEET picture.

I was brought to tears when I saw this picture, and read the words she had written. This picture depicts MANY of my favorite things.

First, it is a GROUP HUG- which I am a BIG fan of :) Also, it includes my fav Underworld God: that cutie 'Anubis - that Razz draws so amazingly cool. Thirdly it includes RAZZ herself, who is my favortitest batgalpal. And, of course, I can *not* leave out how *HAPPY* I was to see *MY UK Tiger* included in the picture. And there is *ME* in the middle, enjoying EVERY second of this wonderful hug.

I can not thank Razz enough, for I know this must have been a lot of work, to have so many folks I love in it.

Razz: do know that I will cherish this picture always, and I am so proud to display it here. And your sentiment you wrote, truly touched my heart. You are the sweetest, and your friendship never fails to make me so thankful.

*switches places with the batgal in the pic, and puts RAZZ in the middle of the Group Hug* Now, that's better ;)

"Louve: The Happy Birthday Pup"

*happy giggles* (added to site: 12-01-03)

Drawn by Alice Dryden (aka. "Huskyteer"). Art copyright of Alice Dryden. Character copyright of Louve.

Click the NEW pawprint button to see a surprise piece of birthday gift art that I was SOOOO happy to receive.

To say that I was both surprised and touched when I found this ADORABLE birthday gift in my email would be an understatement. I was floored by the thoughtfullness, and could not help but smile at the cuteness of the image. It makes me smile every time I look at it, and I am sure always will.

I love how it loks like the little gal is SOO proud of her pretty pink bow, as she struts around with the cutest look on her face :) And those of you who know me, know that the pink bow tied to the end of my tailtip is my character's trademark, so this pic is extra special. For I like to think of it as my "pup portrait". *giggles*

So I send a HUGE thank you to da Husky for such a wonderful surprise birthday picture. I shall treasure it always!! You made my b-day even that much more happy. *hugs*

"A Painted Wolfess & Wolfie Admiring Painted Wolfies"

*gigglez* (added to site: 11-09-03)

Drawn by Roy Pounds II. Art Copyright of Roy Pounds II & Characters copyright of Louve & Lycanthrope

Click the NEW pawprint button to see a surprise piece of gift art that I was SOO happy to receive.

I was truly touched when I received this WONDERFUL picture in the mail. I knew nothing about it prior to having received it. :)

The story I was told about its conception was that it was the brainchild of Roy, after having seen the pictures that the wolfie had shown him regarding our visit to see the african wild dogs in Boston.

Roy said that he could just see us (as our characters) watching the little cuties.. and ~TA DA~: the concept was born *winks*

As is usual with his extraordinary talent, Roy has included some nice little touches. Do take notice of the foxie-guy wearing glasses in the enclosure behind us, with the PC and the coke-- that is Roy!!! *laughs* Awww, someone let him out- though I must say he looks mighty comfy in there. *lol*

And the caption cracks me up. The dog on the left is telling the dog on the right that there must be a convention in town, 'cause we are there as our characters. *giggles*

And of course, the expression of pure bliss on my face is PERFECT! As I always get that same look ANYTIME I see these gorgeous creatures, as many can attest to! ;)

So I send a HUGE thank you to both Lycanthrope & Roy, for their wonderful collaboration of ideas on this picture. I simply adore it. *hugs and snugs and nuzzles the wolfie and foxie* And Roy, I know it has been a rough while for you - and I just wanted to not only thank you for the pic, but also let you know I am keeping you in my prayers. *hugs again*

"Painted Wolfess Fan Club: starring Anubis"

*smiles* (added to site: 11-06-03)

Drawn by my dear friend, Razzek!! This 'Nubi characterization is copyright of Razzek.

Click the NEW pawprint button to see this WONDERFUL picture I was surprised with, by that dear batgal, Razz!

Imagine my utter joy when I checked my email and found this SWEET pic by a dear friend. It made my night it did! It is no secret to Razz that I adore her style, and have a special love of Anubis.. so, she sweetly drew me my first "OFFICIAL" piece of fan art. :)

Awwww-- I have a "Fan Club". And Razz & 'Nubi are resposible for that. *a few happy tears form*

THANK YOU so much, Razz!!! I adore the pic, and I adore you!! Thanks for being a great friend and for allowing me to be there for you. You are truly special, and I am so blessed to have you in my life. *lotsa hugs and snugs and nuzzles and lotsa lovin' from that certain RL wuff who says "arrooowwoooroo"*

"Absence Makes The Love Grow Stronger- (but it still sucks :))"

(added to site: 9-30-03)

Drawn by Cyprus. Art Copyright of Cyprus & Characters copyright of Louve & Chik'ki.

Click the NEW pawprint button to see a picture I commissioned to surprise my UK Tiggy with.

This picture I commissioned from Cyprus, as a gift to my UK Tiggy, for our anniversary this year. With his living in the UK and me here in the States (and only getting to see one another 2 times a year, for now), there are *MANY* a nights spent like this. Me thinking of him. I am holding a framed picture of him to my chest, as my mind captures his image. I LOVE this pic, as the emotion was conveyed **so** well. And I am happy to say that the tiggy *LOVED* it too :)

I want to thank Cyprus for taking this commission request. You took my idea and ran with it, and I can not express how much I *love* the end result!! You are truly talented, dear lady 'yote.. know that this picture will be treasured always by my tiggy and myself. *hugs*

"A Painted American Wolfess In London" (added to site: 9-30-03)

Drawn by Roy Pounds II. Art Copyright of Roy Pounds II & Character copyright of Louve

Click the NEW pawprint button to see a surprise & VERY special commission I received.

Here is a commission that I had NO idea was being done for me. I received it at AC 2002, from my dear friend, Lycanthrope. Needless to say, I was floored and thrilled when it was presented to me. I LOVE IT!! It makes me smile, as Roy put in quite a few fun details that make it even more "mine".

First, I LOVE the fact that he included the pink ribbon on the tip of my tail- as it is a sort of trademark for me :) And I ALSO love the little wolfie plushie I am holding. Sooo cute. I know it is not meant to be, but it actually reminds me of the wolfie backpack that I use daily :) Either way, it adds such a sweetness to the pic.

Of course, I also ADORE the references to London he included- as London (and the UK in general), means so much to me. The t-shirt is GREAT!! (I love the Union Jack in the heart!).

And it might not be obvious, but that is "Harrod's" that I am standing in front of. (You know, the WORLD famous "Harrod's" Department Store -- where if they don't have it, it does NOT exist ;)) Now I have NO idea why I was put in front of this "shopping mecca", as I truly despise shopping. *lightning strikes the painted wolfess* Ok..*sizzles* Ok,, maybe I like shopping a lit... *strikes again*.. Ok, **A LOT**!!! *lol* (I also like how it looks as if I am trying my HARDEST not to look into the windows ;) Even if that is not what is intended, it still makes me smile thinking it. For in real life, I could not afford to shop in "Harrod's", and as such would not want to look and see all the stuff I can not have ;)

So, as you can tell, I adore this pic.

I do need to send a SPECIAL THANK YOU to Lycanthrope for commissiong this for me. It was *so* sweet of you to do- and sneaky, too ;) I will treasure it ALWAYS!!! *hugs & snugs & cuddles & slurpies*

And of course, I MUST thank Roy, as well. I kinda felt like I never really thanked you enough for this. I never got to tell you how much I truly love it, and will always cherish it. You are truly a VERY talented artist, and I am honored to have a commission by you.

"Love's Embrace" (added to site: 9-30-03)

Drawn by MelSkunk (no current website info). Art Copyright of MelSkunk & Characters copyright of Louve & Chik'ki

Click the NEW pawprint button to see truly the MOST special commission I have ever received.

Why is it so special, you ask? Well, it was the VERY first commission I had ever been given. It was commissioned by my UK Tiger, when he went to AC 1999. I was unable to attend, and so to show me that he was thinking of me while he was there, he commissioned this SWEET picture for me. Seeing as it was done in 1999, I had not yet discovered my 'african wild dog' side, so the pic portrays me as my 'grey wolf' self. It brings happy memories each time I look at it. I just recently purchased a scanner, and so I am thrilled to finally be able to put it up on this page. Thanks to my tiggy..love you lots, sweetie. *LOTS & LOTS of snogs & snugs*

"The Louve Plushie"

Created by Ember (website info below) & Copyright of character belongs to Louve

Click the NEW pawprint buttons to see two views of one of my most favorite commissions done to date.

This adorable plushie was based on my furry persona, and was done after I realized the "african painted dog" side of myself. It is so wonderful how Ember did the colorations and even made the splotches- and she got every detail right...including not only the pink ribbon around my tail, but also the musical chimes inside. *smiles* Those of you who know me, will understand the significance of the chimes. *winks* Thank you to Ember for doing such a marvelous job.

To visit her website and see not only other views of the Louve plushie, as well as commission info, click the pawprint below.

I also need to send out a very special THANK YOU to a very special wolf. For not only his unwavering support, but also for the gift commission of this precious creation.

*hugs the "A Generic Wolf"* hee hee *silly giggles*

"My ConBadge 2002"

Characters copyright themselves.

Click the NEW pawprint button to view this *VERY* sweet conbadge for Anthrocon 2002.

"Christmas 2001"

Drawn & copywritten by the *very* talented Jennifer Oseicki.
Character copyright of themselves.

Click the NEW pawprint button to view this *VERY* special and touching portrait.

This image was drawn to capture a very special moment in time. My U.K. Tiger presented me a very wonderful suprise on Christmas morning this past year. My very favorite musical of *all* time is "Phantom of the Opera". So imagine my joy when I opened the card he gave me, and inside were two tickets to see "Phantom"! Needless to say we had a most fabulous time!! Thanks, sweetie! *happy smilies*

Of course, I also need to thank another very special person. For without him, this portrait would never have come to be. So, thank you to Cloudchaser for commissioning this amazing suprise for us. It means a lot to both of us! *hugs for the red wolfie*

And of course, a GREAT big thank you to Jennifer for her superb artistic renderings. This was the very first portrait drawn after I discovered the african painted dog part of myself. So I was super excited to see "myself" with my new colors. :)

"Mercyful Maiden"

Drawn & copywritten by (one of my very favs) David Cantero.
Character copyright of Louve.

Click the NEW pawprint button to view this *VERY* breathtaking (at least I think it is anyway *winks*) and amazingly illustrated portrait.

I want to thank David once again for creating another gorgeous image. I always view it as an honor that any artist would draw my character as they see it. There is *so* much that I love about this portrait, that I would be here all day pointing them out- so, I will just say that two things that amazed me are the wings, as well as the way he included the wolfess image onto the nose of the plane.
Truly beautiful, David! *hugs*

And of course, I can not forget to thank another someone special. Hmm- now I wonder if you can perhaps guess who put David up to this portrait?! *winks* Yep- none other than that precious Shadowwolf! *special snugs and nuzzlies to da woof*

The wolfess image in this portrait was created as an idea for "nose art" on a Coast Guard plane. It was a collaboration of David's and Shadowwolf's ideas. And I think it turned out incredibely well done. As I said above, if you look close enough, you can see the image of the "Mercyful Maiden" on the plane's "nose"! *smiles*
