I shall always believe that there were angels on 9/11:
angels to protect those who escaped & helped others to escape,
angels to guide those who perished- as well as the injured- and angels to help those left behind.
May those same angels help this country to heal, and find the courage and strength to forge on.
Forever in my heart, September 11th will remain-
for it was the day that HEROES and new angels were born.

Below, I chose to include the "bracelet" graphic honoring Reverend Mychal Judge, the firehouse chaplain who died while administering last rites to a fallen firefighter, for the story of his selflessness and gentle heart truly moved me.
So, please know that while the bracelet honors him in name, it also honors *all* who lost their lives, or who were injured, on September 11th.
My heart and prayers go out to ALL those affected by the attacks on New York, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania.

To all of you who have shown concern and caring for me over the past months:
I am planning on writing a more involved 'thank you' message to all of you, as my stamina increases.
But please allow me this opportunity to THANK ALL of you- for your amazing support!!
I wish that I could thank each of you individually, as every one of you deserve such (and I hope that in time, I will be able to do so), but at this time, please accept my heartfelt gratitude and thanks for EVERYTHING.
You guys are truly the best friends a person could ever hope for!!
And you should know, that it is due, in large part to the support from such wonderful friends, that I have gotten to the point that I have at this time.
There is more that I want to say, and I will make sure to do so in the very near future- but for now, from the bottom of my heart-I hope that all of you know how grateful I am for such amazing friends.. and although I will not get into thanking each of you individually,at this moment -(I do hope to do so, eventually),- I would like to send my MOST sincere thanks to the friends I have made at the Homestead.
I have missed ALL of you so very much!

November 25, 1999...a small update:
An Addendum to the above statements:
While I still am in the process of building back my stamina
after the events of this last year- and at that time truly hope to thank ALL of those who have been so incredibley supportive during my roughest moments-
There are a few VERY special individuals whom I want to take this time to send an EXTRA special 'thank you' message.
But please..Don't get me wrong- while I absolutely appreciate each person who continues to pray for my further recovery, sends their best wishes, as well as those who keep me in their thoughts, I also feel the need to address those of you who have truly gone ABOVE AND BEYOND the "call of duty", as far as friendship goes
To~~ JAQ!!!, Cloudchaser, My U.K. Tiger, Smrgol ("Daddy Kirin" =) *winks*), Lomax, Ludwig, fuzzytoes, Wolf J Lupus, Swampy, Stormshade, Speedkill & J Badger:::
I send you all my most sincere 'thank yous', for the way that you have always been there for me- both during my darkest moments, as well as to share in my joys.
There is no way that I could ever fully express my gratitude- as well as my amazement at having found such caring individuals, with which to share my life.
Each of you, in your own ways, have touched my heart- and please know- that none of you (nor the things you have done, and the way you have so freely given of your hearts) will EVER be forgotten.
