In June of 2002, the Shire of Port Oasis hosted AEthelmearc Academy. Lord Valetine Raphael de Peregoy began his term as Underdean of Fence in the AEthelmearc War College and recruited fencing classes. Attendance to the event was small, but the knowledge shared was good.
