That is right!! Chat is back in my chat room, and in a BIG WAY!!!
A fan named Scott noticed that there was NO ONE in my chat room, and wants to correct the situation. He plans to have 2 chat sessions a week for North Americans and 1 for overseas folks. Basically, I have given him full control of the chat rooms...so if you guys have any questions/comments, post them here or email Scott at [email protected]. Scott already has fans lined up, so there should be lots of people there to discuss ASOIAF!!
Anyhow, the first chat session will be at Monday November 22...at 8pm EST...Scott and I need times and hours that will be good for the rest of the sessions, feel free to give your opinons!

Greenwich Mean Time. It's +5 hours from Eastern Standard, if that helps (i.e., chat is at 2pm on the east coast.)

Yes, LindaElane had a point. I too would like to participate in the chat, because, as all know, I am everyones "Role Model" (bows and pays homage to Chris Jericho - Y2J). Anyhow, how long does the chat usually last. I work in the Wonderful Silicon Valley of California, and in case you're unaware, traffic is a Cersei Lannister. I get off at 5:00, but don't get home until 6:30 if I'm lucky. Meaning, chattime 9:30.

Dirjj- chats usually last for about one to two hours, depending on how many people there are, and how interesting the discussions are. The last one went for over 2 hrs. (beyond 10 pm EST)
Chat Topic for tonite (Monday 11/29)
The Wall.
What is Ben Stark doing at the Wall? Why are Bran and Co. going to the wall? Who is Mance Rayder? What were the wildlings searching for? What is the nature of the Others? Is Jon going to remain a blackbrother at heart, or is he going to turn into a Wildling? And so on...

Hey, where _is_ everyone? It's half past seven GMT... ok, I'll be keeping the chat-window open as long as I'm online, so I hope I will "see" one of you tonight...

Hah! got in, and have now finished my first chat session ever.
Real-time discussion is not such a bitch as I used to think... :o)
Me, Nenz, Min, Padraig, Greyjoy, Munch and labor were all there (and more people? I got in late.), as was Ran, although he bowed out early. I speculated that Linda was getting amorous... :o)

And I said something nasty about scandinavian girls... ;-)
Kay, sorry I left without saying bye. I was kicked out, and when I got back in, you were gone... those men do not have any _stamina_ anymore... ;-)
LindaElane was there, too, before Kay came. And I think some others showed up for a short time. We started at 7:45 MET and finished after 10pm, so that was quite a while. It was fine, and I hope we will be able to do this more often.
As for the time: It is 10:43pm (MET, I think) here in Germany NOW. How can this be so difficult?

Well, it seems the 1rst Overseas chat was quite a success! Kewl!!
Well, the second American Chat was a great also....Great discussions about whether Benjen was dead or not, and the nature of the Others, what may kill them, and so on.
Topic for Thurs 8 pm EST: The Greyjoys...
what are they planning to do next? Is Theon an evil *^*&(*&%^ or is he just a misunderstood guy with lots of problems? Is he alive?

The Greyjoys... right now, I am considering to stay up until 3 am in the morning to defend Theon - if I am not there, who will? But as I have to work tomorrow, I suppose I'll have to wish you all a good chat-time tonight... err, this evening. Have fun. :-)

Hi everyone! Chat was wonderful tonight! We basically spent the whole hour in a heated discussion about whether Theon was a bad guy or not. (Dont worry, Min, we had some staunch defenders of Theon!)
Chat for next Monday- one of my personal favorite topics-
Jon's parentage...Also, Dany's visions about the dragon heads.
This topic may take up two chat sessions...I'll keep you guys posted.

No reason to be sorry, Rev. I am glad that some _were_ there. My only fear was that no one would be prepared to defend him. :-) Sounds like you had fun. Great. I'll try to be there for next Monday's overseas chat.

Just finished this evening's chat. 't was cool, although neither Ran nor Min showed up, as far as I could see (*boo, hiss*).
Myself, Greyjoy, Nenz, Munch, Padraig, Ser Benjen, and someone called Lady Godiva (a lurker?) was there. I'm not sure if I forget someone...?

As last time, me and Padraig finished last, and we got to talking about what Dany will do in aSoS. I suppose we reached a conclusion (rather reluctantly, on my part, I admit) that she will end up in Asshai.
She'd _better_ attack Dragonstone when I read the first pages of ADwD.
Oh wait...I just was reminded of something...if Stannis and Dany should meet, isn't Dragonstone a
suitable place to go? If Dany doesn't show up at Dragonstone in aSoS, she's not likely to find him at all. Unless _he_ moves, that is...
