I'm starting to look at the acronym asos as some kind of illness. "Mom, bad news," I hear myself say. "I have been diagnosed with asos." "What!," she'll reply. "What is that?!" "It stands for Acute Shortage and Overanxiety for Storm of swords. It's very self-referential." Of course, the conversation will go downhill from there.
Methinks writing in caps is a symptom of the more advanced stages of this illness. As well as delusions of grandure. What do you think, LindaElane?

I think the more you look forward to it, the more you will enjoy it when you receive it :-)
It could of course stand for "Acute Shortage of Spoilers". "Amazing Sickness of Setbackpublicationdate"
Ok, here is some innocuous information to partly fill the information hole in your heart. Two of our favorite characters, whom you will be surprised to find together, are fleeing across the country. The come to the top of a mountain and see a violent storm coming. The rain is falling into a river. We are told that, with the light of sunset going through it, it looks like thousands of swords are falling into the the water.

Sansa & Tyrion?
It makes sense. If Tyrion had to flee, and wanted to hurt his family and/or Peytr and save Sansa, he might take her with him.

Ants, you are being so prosaic. :-) When I read LindaElane's comment, I wasn't even thinking about whom the information could partain to. I was reminiscing about a vaguely similar experience I had in Scotland. Lots of rain there and intermittent sun there. Thanks for the image, LindaElane. Although some spoiler purists might not thank you for it.
