This just in from GRRM:
Bantam has sent me the dates and places for my November tour for A STORM OF SWORDS. Some of the details still remain to be worked out, and it's always possible that there will be additions and changes later on, but right now the schedule looks like this:
FRIDAY NOV 3, 7:30 pm Barnes and Noble, Albuquerque, N.M.
SATURDAY NOV 4, 7:00 pm Joseph Beth, Lexington, Kentucky
MONDAY NOV 6, 7:00 pm Schwartz Bookstore, Milwaukee, Wisc.
TUESDAY NOV 7 Toronto, Ontario -- details to come
WED, NOV 8, 7:00 pm Mysterious Galaxy, San Diego, California
THURSDAY, NOV 9, 7:30 pm Kepler's, Menlo Park, California
FRIDAY, NOV 10, 7:00 pm Bay Book and Tobacco, northern California
SATURDAY, NOV 11, 7:30 pm Cody's, San Francisco, California
SUNDAY, NOV 12, 3:00 pm Border's, Tygard, Oregon
TUESDAY, NOV 14, 7:00 pm University Bookstore, Seattle, Washington
WED, NOV 15 (time tba) Bolen Books, Vancouver, British Columbia
THURSDAY, NOV 16 Calgary, Canada -- details to come
SATURDAY, NOV 18, 2 pm Dangerous Visions, Sherman Oaks, Ca.
TUESDAY, NOV 21, 7:30 pm Tattered Cover, Denver, Colorado
Looks like I will be racking up quite a few frequent flyers miles. If I seem unduly befuddled at any of the events, please forgive me and rack it up to jet lag.
I will be reading and answering questions at several of these appearances -- at Mysterious Galaxy in San Diego, at Kepler's in Menlo Park, at the University Bookstore in Seattle, possibly others.
I hope I will see many of you at one or the other of these events.

He's coming to Toronto! Woohoo! Will he let you know when his plans are confirmed (ie time and place)? Should I keep checking in here?

GRRM regularly mails such updates to various website maintainers, so I figure you'll see any updates on such websites, and here as well. :) If there's nothing by mid-October, you might try asking him.

::sniffle:: Why can't he come to Arizona? Oh well, I have relatives in Milwaukee. Maybe one of them would be good enough to go and purchase a hardback and get it signed....

An odd list of cities...
Nothing at all in the Northeast United States or the East Coast at all.
Guess us Easterners will have to wait until next September...

That IS an odd list. What the hell? Except for Lexington KY the East and Central US are totally screwed.

I will definitely post any update I receive on this thread Aludra.
I don't know why the tour came out like it did. It actually looks very much like his ACOK tour, though I am not sure it is identical.
Remember, he was in Chicago and will be in Philadelphia for labor day next year. And I think he was in Germany this year, and he was in Australia the year before. So keep checking. Personally, I am planning a trip out of town to see him. If you can go to a session where he reads and answers questions, the trip is will worth it, imho.
