A Re-Run with an Old Friend
Sequel to The Night They Spent Together

Willow was on her way to Angels for the "Forever Night" rerun. She was happy to see Angel, at least *he* noticed her. When she got to school this morning Xander also hugged her in the hall way. He said that he was very worried when he found out that she was missing last night, she tried to explain to Xander that she was OK, and that she had just been with a *friend* but he was still worried. She had considered telling both Buffy and Xander that she had been with Angel last night but then she thought of all the questions that would come up. So she decided not to tell them, most of all Xander. He would probably kill Angel! Then she would know that he cared for her. But still she did not Angel hurt, or on the other hand she did not want Xander hurt.
He asked her to go to the Bronze with him and Buffy tonight but she had said that she was going to take is easy tonight. He said that that was OK. But still wanted her to come. She told her parents that she was going to the Bronze. Then she thought about the kiss the night before. <wow> was all that came to mind. <I like Angel> Popped into her head. <No I can't like Angel, Buffy's Angel! We are just friends nothing more. Nothing More.....Really>
By that point she was at Angel door. She knocked on the door and Angel opened it in the third knock.
"Hi." He said moving aside for her to walk in.
"Nice to see you, has it started yet?" She asked sitting down on the Black leather couch.
"No, not for a few minutes." He said sitting down on the couch next to her.
The credits roll on the screen and the TV goes black. Commercials come on and Willow squirms around on the couch.
"Ya, done?" Angel asked laughing at her.
"What? Done with what?" She looks down at herself then looks up at him.
"Done squirming?" He says smiling at her.
"Oh, yeah. It's just this leather. It sticks to you." She said moving around more.
"Do you want a blanket?"
"No, you don't have to do that I will be fine." She says getting a little red.
"No, I insist, really it's OK. I will be right back." He goes off to the hall way and arrives with the blanket in hand.
"Thanks."
"No problem."
"Angel, you know what you said yesterday?" She asked turning to look at the screen.
"I said a lot of thing yesterday, Willow." He said looking at her.
"I mean the part about you saying that Xander was dumb not to notice me."
"Yeah, I still can't believe that he does not notice someone as great as you. Frankly I can't see what you see in him. He could not see a good thing if it walked up and hit him in the head." He said laughing softly.
"I don't even know anymore. But anyway I just want to say thanks, for noticing me." She said looking at him now. She leaned in and kissed him on the check.
"I should kill that boy for hurting you so much." He said pulling Willow into a hug.
That was it Willow broke down crying. By the time she calmed down Angels shirt was all wet with her tears.
"I am sorry about crying on you, look at that your shirt is all wet now. I am sorry,"
"Don't cry over Xander, he will notice you." Angel said reaching behind the couch and grabbing some tissues. He handed them to her and she accepted them with a half smile.
"When? When will he notice me? I have been best friends with him sense sperm and he still thinks of me as a sister. Sometimes I just want to punch him and tell him that I love him. But even then I don't think that will get in throw his thick skull. Sometimes I just don't want to be friends with him so maybe, just maybe he will notice me as more then the best friend/sister.
Angel watched all of this and to see Willow in so much pain he wanted to kill Xander. Then he got an Idea, a great Idea. Now maybe Xander will notice her.
"Willow I have an Idea that will make Xander see." He said getting up from the couch.
"Well what is it?" She said as she stood up from the couch.
Angel and Willow walked over to the door of his apartment.
"Angel what are we doing?"
"Making Xander see you."
