Challenge of Naïveté

You think I’m just your naïve friend
And think I know not what I see
I know you’ll never comprehend
The things that stir inside of me

You think I’m just a little girl
To save at every new-found turn
But feelings change in twists and twirls
And deep inside does fire burn

You think I am a little child
To entertain your every whim
But inside feelings more than mild
Fill and flood me to the brim

You think I do not see your eyes
Watch me as I follow you
Reaching only to your thighs
As each bump spark an interest new

You think that I could never know
The needs and wants your body holds
Failed masking of inside glow
As each day new sensation folds

You think I never could express
The feelings that you hold inside
But on you now I must impress
These feelings that I cannot hide

You think I am the naïve one
But what you now must realize,
It is not I who turns to run
It’s you, I see it in your eyes

You think that I will never know
The way your heart burns tried and true,
But now is not my turn to go,
Admitted mine, now what of you?
