The Only One

The only one
to stand beside me
When I am confronted
by my terrible past.
The only one who
can reach me
When it threatens to
consume me.

She's the one who
taught me how
To laugh again
To live again and
To love again.

She's the only one
I trust so completely
And the only one I
Love so deeply.

She's the only one
to make me believe
in I have a future
And the only one
I want to share it with.
