  Bad Bird, with all his skill, gets the daunting task of being the leader of the Ninja Crows.  Hired by the Big Cheese and an acquaintance of Jerry Atric, Bad Bird aspires to be as evil as his father and hold the reputation he achieved.   Unfortunately, Bad Bird's fatal mistake was being hired by the Big Cheese.

  Bad Bird is the one who runs an operates all of Big Cheese's half thought out schemes.  In the end usually ending up being taken out to the trash by Speedy, Polly and Guido.  Bad Bird is eventually able to realize that in the time they live in, a fair fight and hand to hand combat is the way to go.  With all his dedication to the evil side he envy's all the successful and powerful crows before him which were individually gifted and didn't rely on others and their inventions to succeed.  They survived in their own small circle.  Bad Bird seems to enjoy every moment he gets to have a sward duel with Speedy Cerviche - his ultimate nemesis.

  Bad Bird gets the 'honor' (if you can call it that) of running the Ninja Crow squad.  A clan of hundreds of crows that do nothing but frustrate Bad Bird.  He can do nothing but watch as 3 kitties take out ten times their number in Ninja Crows.   Bad Bird himself is a ninja crow and his superior status is due to his (mostly) effort, talent and pure dedication that all the rest seem to lack.

  What most didn't/don't know is Bad Bird and his past, which leads to a lovely young lady named Carla.  A crow herself, living next to Bad Bird (nicknaming him "Birdie") for most of their young lives.  She is Bad Bird's greatest weakness, and also his greatest love.  He once vowed to love her forever, which Carla eventually began to believe was false when the two were separated.  Bad Bird is eventually able to reinstate her faith in him, but for one incredible act of humanity on his part, Bad Bird wants her to have nothing to do with him because he doesn't want her hurt.

  By the end of the series all of Bad Bird's beliefs and views are changed.   To satisfy his own personal desires he converts over to the side of good in order to protect and save everyone with Speedy's help (Carla was the main person flying through his mind - he couldn't have her unless he did change his ways)  So Bad Bird then becomes Good Bird - who still has the knack of picking an argument with his former advisory.
