PRINCESS VIOLET

Although no one may admit it, Princess Violet (or more commonly "Vi") has the most envyable postition a teenager could ever want.  All the frustration and turmoil of growing up can be easily vented in one horrific tempertantrum with the end result of having someone banished to Prisoner Island.  Everyone listens to her and does what she asks without questioning her motives (except perhaps the odd time with Al Dente or Big Cheese).   Vi has everyone exactly where she wants them - under her thumb.

The opposite can be said about her position as well.  Being the heir to the throne, she's the only one in the palace who has any sort of common sense.  Her father - a total mental case, and if he wasn't the Emperor, he'd be locked away in a padded cell.  Not much of an example to go by for a growing girl.  Thus all responsiblity falls in her lap.  This leaves Violet with not much of a social life which every teenager craves.  She's forced to seek it out herself, defying anyone who challenges her adventurous streek.

Undoubtibly, the princess gets the majority of her personality and rambunctious spirit from her mother.  However, her mother is not the greatest roll model either.   Princess Vi craves the attention of her mother who is too busy scouting the world to give it to her.  Thus this princess had no one to idlize, to teach her, or give her the love every child craves.  Violet manages to get past that and treasures every moment with her mother anyways.

The situation with her mother has also had a great impact on the 18-year-old as well.  It created a very responsible teenager, quite able to care for herself - although no one plans on letting her.  If the princess is able to overcome her increadibly rash temper, she would make an excellent ruler.  The fact that Princess Vi insists on going out an meeting her citizens is a good sign that this young lady will grow up knowing what life outside the palace is like.
