Saturn is a story in her own right. She has gone through hell and back and still has a smile on her face. She is the strongest after Sailor Moon, and can destroy the world in three words. She is not a girl you want mad at you. Hotaru Tomoe is, or rather was an ordinary girl. She had a mom, dad, but that all changed when a terrible fire took her mothers life. Her father threw himself into his work and pretty much left his child to raise herself in their big lonely mansion. A shy and quite girl, Hotaru has a unique ability to heal others, and that often makes her school mates wary and cruel towards her. But this all changes when she becomes friends With Rennie, and Serena. Rennie becomes her best and most loyal friend. Once again Hotaru finds happiness but that doesn't last. One day while helping her father (Professor Tomoe) when something went wrong. A giant explosion killed all of his lab hands as well as his only daughter whom he was just once again beginning to notice. Overcome with grief he was approached by Demon Maser telling the grief stricken professor that Hotaru would live as long as he gave up his soul. Professor Tomoe felt that he had no choice and agreed to the trade. Creating not only Mistress 9 but his gang of Death busters. After many heart wrenching battle's Sailor Saturn is revived and reborn and becomes the wonderful scout that she is today.

 She holds out the Silence Glaive and the blade charges with purple energy, then purple ribbons emit and slash and tear at her enemy.

A powerful polearm (This fight with sailor Moon shows it quite clearly) that Sailor Saturn uses that has many purposes..namely, slicing whatever/whomever gets in her way.

Silence Wall
Sailorsaturn says this and raises her Silence Glaive above her head to protect herself and others from attacks.

Hotaru is revived as a baby and starts to grow-up, having a normal life. She then becomes Sailor Saturn again and powers-up all the  Outer Scouts, and this is the pic of it, cool no?
