A native of Connellsville, PA., he grew up in such far-flung locales as Mexico and Iran, as his father`s business moved the family around the world.
They never lived in any place for more than 2 or 3 years. He studied theater arts from the College of William and Mary. After a brief teaching stint
at Florida State, he joined the Asolo Repertory Company and began touring the country in regional productions. He has appeared at Minneapolis` Guthrie Theatre
in productions of "Romeo and Juliet" and "The Rivals" and estimates that he he has played over two dozen Shakespearean roles during his carreer. Among his
New York theatrical credits are roles in the Broadway production of "November People" and off-Broadway, in "Calaban". He has won a Daytime Emmy Award
for Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his role on "As the World Turns" in 1985. He joined Santa Barbara in May, 1986, after spending the previous year involved
in a variety of projects. He appeared in an off-Broadway production of Sam Shepard`s "Fool For Love" in the role of Eddie, co-starred in the feature film "Dream Lover"
and in the television motion picture "Intimate Strangers", and was a guest star on the series "Foley Square". His intrests include scuba lessons, basketball, tennis
and horseback riding. He can be seen in "Guiding Light" the soap, in which he plays Buzz Cooper.
