Willow walked down the corridor of
the great palace, being roughly held by two large guards. The
guards face's were distorted, ridges on their faces and their eyes
glowed yellow. Willow could tell that they were demons and so
tried not to fight for who knew what they might do to her if she
did fight them. She kept her head low and walked along with them,
her wrists were bloodied and bruised from the ropes tied around
them. She didn't understand any of what was going on all she knew
was that she had been taken from her chamber and led out of her
father's castle.
There had been dead men and blood
everywhere and all she could hope for was that somehow her father
had gotten away. She was lead to this place, the men who escorted
her wouldn't tell her anything of what was happening and so she
had just gone along with them. She soon was stopped in front of a
large door the men cut her ropes and threw her into the room. She
landed onto the cold marble floor and tried to pick herself up but
was unable to, she was so weak so very tired. Her sleeping gown
was torn and her life seemed that it was over. Her family was
probably all dead and she there was nothing she could do about it
. She fell into a exhausted sleep.
Something cool brushed Willows hand
and she opened her eyes slowly finding a calm face looking down at
her. She jumped back remembering what had happened to her in
the last hours. "Who are you?" She asked in a small
voice "Why have I been brought here?" the man was
handsome in his own way. He had almost white hair and a very defined
face. His eyes were cold buy somehow soft. "I'm not going to
hurt you, lady." He said and reached out for her wrist
she gasped in pain when he touched the bruise's. "I told them
not to hurt you.." He said as he looked at her wrist touching
it lightly. He stood up and brought a water basin and
washcloth and took back Willows wrist.
"You haven't answered my
question, sir." She said quietly as he began to clean her
wounds. She closed her eyes relishing in his touch to her
tender skin. "at least tell me your name?" She said looking
at him as he held her other wrist "Of course, its William you
can call me Spike if you like though, Lady." He looked
up at her when he was done "And your the beautiful Lady
Willow?"
Willow blushed, "Yes, I'm
Willow, now please why have I been brought here?" She
asked trying to get him to look her in the eye "Have dinner
with me tonight Milady?" He said smiling strangely as he
dodged her question again. Willow frowned she was frightened
and she didn't really know what this Spike wanted from her "I
don't have anything to wear.." She started looking down
at her night dress.
"There are things in the wardrobe
for you. I hope you like them. I will have someone come and get
you for dinner do as you like until then." With that
Spike got up and walked out her the room. All the confusion
and death of the past hours hit Willow a few minuets later and she
started to cry softly not knowing what to do or what was
expected of her. She had never been without her father or her
close friends and now she feared they were all dead. She lay there
and cried for everything that she had lost and everything she
might lose she was so confused.
Spike sat at the large banquet
table waiting for Willow to come in. He knew that she must be
scared now, he was glad she should be. He was seeing if she would
be right. Be right to be his lady, his queen of the night. He
had been watching her for some time now. A few months
perhaps, watched her until she was ready for him to take and make his.
She was in her prime of life the tender age of 17. He was lucky
her baboon of a Father hadn't married her off to some Lord
before Spike could get her. Then he looked up from his
thoughts and she walked in. She looked stunning, in a emerald
green dress. Her long auburn hair flowing down her back
shinning. He had always loved her hair it reminded him of
dusk he loved dusk. Right before he could come out and feed and be merry.
She came in and sat down at the other end of the table from him
placing her hands in her lap. He grimaced when he saw the
bruises on her tender skin. He would kill whoever had done
that to her, in fact he was going to do it after dinner.
Willow was shuffled into the lovely
dinning hall, she slowly sat down and then looked up at
Spike. "Hello again.." She said and stared at his
features her truly was magnificent in his own way. Spike
smiled at her "Hello again, Lady. I trust that your stay here
has been pleasant?" he asked Willow tried to smile but
couldn't bring herself to do it.
"I don't understand why
you have brought me here. If you could answer that I'm sure I
could be better able to please you. But I'm so confused.. Why
did you bring me here?" She asked quietly.
Spike looked at her "I brought
you here Willow, to be my Queen. If you want to.." He
said slowly knowing she had no choice even if she said no. He
still wanted to give her the idea she had power of the
situation. "If its what you want my lord." Willow bowed her
head a bit to look down at the table "Why me? I'm so plain..
there are so many different choices then me.. I just..."
Spike was sympathetic for her,
"I understand, luv. You just don't understand how
beautiful you are do you?" He asked shock in his eyes "I was
raised to be a lady.. but I was never beautiful my lord." She
said slowly looking into his deep eyes. "You are milady
more then you will ever know, that's why I chose you to be my
Queen. You and no one else." He said smiling "And I'm
happy that you have agreed"
Willow's head was spinning what
choice did she have other then to agree she had no family
left and he hadn't tried to hurt her so she might as well go along
with it. "I hope I can please you." Was all she
could think to say.
Willow sat at her vanity brushing
through her long hair. She had found a brush in the drawer
and had found her hair to be a mess. She had stopped herself to
think of what she was doing, giving up on her family her
friends.. All she could think about was the fact that SHE was
safe and that SHE was alive. Lord Spike had not hurt her and said
he wouldn't. She believed him and he was actually quite
pleasant once you got used to his quiet nature and his
stares. He could stare anyone down with his eyes, they were so
deep so.. she could not find words to describe them. She had
a lovely room and dress's and was content to stay where she
was for the time being. She was not bothered and ate dinner with
Spike when he called for her company. Most of the time she spend
wandering the gardens or sitting in her room reading one of
the books from the library. She never saw anyone in the day
and never thought to inquire about it. She didn't want him to
think her rude so she kept to herself.
One night Willow woke-up to a
slight noise in her room, she came fully awake to find one of
the guards standing over her bed. "Wake Up Princess" he
sneered and slowly came down upon her. Willow jumped up from
her bed and yelped in surprise when he lunged for her. She
fell back against the wall and pushed herself as far as she could against
it. She couldn't think of what to do.. it was obvious he meant to
hurt her. She couldn't run and she certainly couldn't fight
him. She whimpered softly when he came to her yanking her up
by her arm and pressing her against the wall. He bared her neck
and slowly bent down to bite it. Willow pushed on his chest
but her barley budged. She closed her eyes and waited for him
to bite. But the bite never came, suddenly he was gone and
Spike was standing in front of her. She wanted to scream, cry, and
laugh all at the same moment. Instead she just fainted.
*Oh Hell* Spike thought when she
fell the floor at his feet. He Picked her up and laid her on
the bed slowly moving her hair out of her face. *Hmm she is a
beauty.. I should turn her soon. she's getting to used to
this place and the other Vampires are getting sick of having
her around..*
Willow moved a little and groaned
trying to wake up. She felt someone touching her and jumped
back then realized it was Spike. "What happened? The last
thing I remember.. and then I guess I fainted' she blushed
slightly and then went to stand up. "Sorry to trouble
you. I guess I should be more careful or.. I dunno.." She
stood up facing him. "No trouble, luv, maybe you should
start locking your door more though.. some of the slaves here
are just not as responsive as I would prefer."
"Yes well.. I think I will
start locking my door. I was stupid I shouldn't have left it open."
Spike smiled at that "I don't think your stupid, maybe you
should be just a little more cautious though." Willow
looked up and gave him a little grin "Well.. erm.. I think I'll
let you get back to sleep now.. " "all right then.. Ill
see you tomorrow?" Willow hoped she would.. she only
really felt safe when Spike was around. "Yes of course."
* I think tomorrow night I'll Change her.. Should be
interesting..* Spike left her and walked down to his library.
The Next Night Willow was sitting
in one of her favorite sitting rooms reading one of the many
hundreds of books from the library. She was exceptionally happy
that one of her Nurse's had forced her to learn how to read
when she was little, it was one of the things that helped her
to forget what was happening around her. She could get lost in the
great books for hours at a time, reading philosophy, mythology,
and even some love stories she had found.
She sighed and closed the book, her
eyes were starting to hurt and the sun was setting. She
really should go get ready for the evening meal she was looking
forward to it immensely she had been so lonely all day. She
never could seem to find Spike in the day but he always
materialized at night.. it was odd but she just disregarded it and
got up to go pick out a dress.
Spike sat silently in his room,
thinking about changing her. How sweet her blood would taste,
how evil she would become. How she would be his for all eternity.
He would do it soon, tonight. He got up and picked out his
best clothes. Then walked to the dinning room. Willow sat
there looking so innocent and so.. his.
The Dinner went pleasantly enough,
they talked of books they had read and books they would like
to read. Soon Willow was sitting in the library next to Spike
reading him parts of Homers the Odyssey. "...How should
I, then, forget godlike Odysseus, who is beyond all mortals
in wisdom, and beyond all has paid sacrifice to the immortal gods, who
hold broad heaven?.." She read the words eloquently.
Spike watched her read, watched her
lips move, and her chest rise and fall with every breath.
"... that he may come home; and Poseidon will let go his
anger, for he will in no wise be able, against all the
immortal gods and in their despite, to contend alone." Willow
shut the book and looked at him looking at her. "I think its
time, lady." Spike said softly. "Time?" She
asked looking at him with confusion clear in her eyes. "Time
that I make you like me.."
Spike watched Willows reaction
closely. She was mostly just confused, but he also saw her just
looking at him in awe. "Like you? I'm sorry but I think your
going to have to explain that better... I don't know what you
mean.." Spike smiled at that she was to smart for him.
"Don't worry, luv, it wont hurt you.. Well much"
"If its what you want, my
lord." Willow said lowering her head slightly Spike smiled.
She was so giving... he was just going to give herself to him, for
that he was grateful. He didn't want to have to take her
innocence... no, he wanted her to give it to him on her own
choice. "Come here then." Willow slowly got up and
walked over to him.
Spike stood and pulled her long
hair back from her neck. "Now close your eyes." He said
in a low calm voice, Willow closed her eyes and then felt a slight
pain in her neck. She started to weaken and then she felt herself
fall to the floor. Then there was something at her mouth.. she let
the metallic substance come into her before she fell into
darkness. Spike watched his Beauty sleep. She looked so peaceful..
only he knew it was a unnatural sleep.
"We're going to have such a
fun eternity" Spike whispered while he slowly stroked her
hair.
