AUTHOR'S NOTE: I know all bus trips aren't like this. I had a bad experience today and my
brain forced me to write this. *bad brain* This isn't ment to insult anyone, sorry if it does

Willow sat slouched down in her seat on the bus near tears. She thought back over the events that had brought her to this. Public transportation.

She had had it planned out for weeks in advance, the greatest thing ever. Book shopping at the book fair just outside of Sunnydale. It came once every two years and she and Giles had planned on going. Unfortunately, Giles had gotten called to England for a family emergency or something.

Willow decided she wasn't going to let that stop her.. so she'd hit up her parents for the car, they'd said no instantly. Saying that she was too young to drive two miles out of Sunnydale alone. Even though she had to be the most responsible person she knew... anyway. She'd asked Oz for a ride. He'd been apologetic but had band practice. He'd given her his puppy eyes and she'd quickly forgiven him. Damn. Puppy eyes were the worst.

Well there were plenty of people with cars... so Xander. He had to drive his mom to LA that weekend. Fun for him, seeing as they would probably argue the whole way down. Still, she was left without a ride, she'd decided she would take the bus. Fun. She had quickly mapped out her route, Take the 4 bus down town switch to 8F then do another transfer onto 5 and walk the way to the book fair. Then back to the bus stop to catch the last bus home.

Willow had made a wrong turn. It seemed that bus 5 didn't actually go to the book fair, the schedule of bus she'd had was changed about two weeks after she'd gotten it and now bus 5 went to LA. Willow was on her way to LA and she didn't want to be.

She'd politely asked the driver if they were going back to Sunnydale anytime soon, it was getting dark. He.. *who soon turned out to be a she* had screamed at her for interrupting his driving which took so much concentration and made her go sit down at the back of the bus where some guy had instantly asked her for sex.

She moved away from him and the driver had yelled at her again for moving around while the bus was in motion. She'd sat down next to what seemed to be a nice blond girl who'd looked at Willow rudely and smacked her gum. "Umm, sorry this seats taken. By my invisible friend who's not you," the girl had said and glared at Willow. Willow moved away from the girl and sat next to an old lady who smelled like peppermints.

The woman turned out to be nice, she'd quickly offered Willow a slimy sucking candy Willow had politely turned her down and minded her own business. The woman soon fell asleep and was currently drooling on Willow's shoulder. It was dark and Willow wanted nothing more then to get off this jolting bus.

The bus came to a screeching halt as if by Willow's wish just as she thought for the millionth time about how she didn't want to be here. Everyone pushed and shoved their way off the bus even the old woman who'd been so nice started screaming at the people and pushing through the crowds. Willow stayed in her seat. The bus driver soon came back after everyone had gotten off the bus and Willow stared at her. "Your going to need to get off the bus now." she said in a cold voice Willow sniffed, she didn't want to cry in front of this harpy.

"I don't have anywhere to go..." she said sadly. "I got on the wrong bus and I didn't mean
to end up in LA and I had thought this went to the.."

"Save it. Get off before I have you removed." Willow stared at the woman in disbelief, how could she be so uncaring? She got up out of her seat clutching her purse to her. All she had was about 30 Dollars and a student ID.

She made her way down the steps of the bus and tripped on the last one, she fell to the ground with a ompf and growled in frustration tears running down her cheeks. She wanted to hurt something and was wishing nasty things on the bus drivers when she heard someone walking up in front of her. She quickly stood up and brushed herself off. She glanced up.

"Hey." Oz. Willow threw herself into his arms and kissed him. Oz was taken aback but soon fell into the kiss. Finally they separated and she smiled. "This has been the worst day, how'd you find me?" He smiled his Ozish smile.

"Realized you were taking the wrong bus, I tried to catch you at the station but the bus
had already pulled out. I've been trailing you for about an hour," he said and pointed to
the newly painted vibrant blue van.

Willow smiled, "Good thing you double checked the bus schedules. I woulda been stuck
here until.. who knows." Oz wrapped a comforting arm around her waist and walked her
to the van. "I guess we're here until morning then.."

Willow grinned widely, "I guess."
