WEDDING
On 1.07.2000 Osvaldo Rios got
married with an actress and manequin from
Cuba Geraldin Anet Fernandez
and organized Red-Indian-Taity ceremony
in the presence of their two
children from previous marriages Giuliano Gabriel
Rios and Geraldin Anet Umpire.
This marriage was a ceremony in honour of the
first inhabitants of the island
Puerto Rico. Dressed in white, which colour is a
symbol of peace, harmony and
love in the beautiful Mother nature and her four
elements: fire, water, air and
ground. It was a ceremony in a close family circle.
Miguel Angel Geraldin's second
father and Nely Alonso Osvaldo's mother was
godfathers. Their children gave
them wedding-rings. Their bridesmaid was sisters
Gloria-Teresa and Gloria-pina,
witness - Luis and Alexander Rios. Osvaldo's second
father Kenny Sanchez who looked
after him from his 8 years was there too. On the
question why he chose this so
exotic place for such a ritual wedding ceremony he
shared that wants to have a
ritual based to be the modesty and humility of Red-
Indians Tainos - the most
ancient inhabitants of Puerto Rico and bearers of many
moral values.
