Instead of resigning - which has been talked her out by her roommate Casey - she finds herself in the hero-position: On the mission her commander shot down two enemy fighters but she gets the credit for this. Casey herself is (successfully) involved in a private 'who is the better' strength duel against Ripper, a male comrade. A team of reporters is already on their way to interview Angela, but during the night Angela is killed. The Navy lawyers for the Judge Advocate General (JAG), Lt. Rabb and Lt. Pike, are assigned to investigate and find out if it was suicide (the 'resigning'-matter), an accident or murder. Locations: USS Seahawk/Adriatic Sea; Washington D.C. For this episode John Ashton wasn't available, so DPB decided to change the story. Different from the original episode is also that Harm's fingerprints were never on the weapon, therefore he probably was never arrested under murder charges (the actual cliffhanger). Mac's fear for her case is two-fold: one, that Harm might try to get back at her for perceived slights when their roles were reversed in a recent case and, two, that Harm's background as a fighter pilot might play in favor of the defendant.
