My name is Chris Beshirs and I think that WISHBONE is the greatest show that there is (for children that is). I think that kids need more interesting show loke this that can promote education, but is also interesting. I am 15 and I am not ashamed to say that WISHBONE is a great show. I would like to thank my friend Matt for all his help. I hope that you all enjoy this page and I hope you will e-mail me with your comments. I know that this is real short, but I wanted a page that was simple and that the average kid could understand it. Have it in mind that this is only my second page and with time comes experience. Wishbone, the television show was created to introduce children from ages 6-11, however many more people tune it to the show that airs weekly. The show was created in 1994 and is still going today. The show stars a dog with a big imagination Wishbone (Soccer the dog), and his 12 year owner (Jordan Wall). Every week is a new adventure of Wishbone. There are actually two episodes put into one. First, in the modern day show which is based on the second part of the show. The scond part is the historical part. Everyweek, one of Wishbone's adventures is based on a novel, or a epic poem. So, while the viwers are watching Wishbone and his owner in their fictional city of Oakdale, they are also learning about history. The show also stars Joes friends David and Sam (played by Adam Springfield and Christie Abbott). Then there is Joes mother (Mary Chris Wall) and the neighbor Wanda (Angee Hughes) who needs to know everything due to her work on the Oakdale Chronicle. The show was created by Rick Duffield who's son Joe Duffield appears in the show as Joe's enemy Demont Jones. The show is filmed in Allen, Texas a suburb of Dallas. The set includes the stage but also a 10 acre back lot for the out door scenes. The show's main character Wishbone is a real Jack Russel terrior with a voice-over played by Larry Brantley. The show is filmed on film rather then video like its other counterpart children's television shows.
