Small, personalized seminars with casting directors and panels featuring top agents and Dharma & Greg cast members highlight the expanded ActorFest, a daylong trade show for West Coast talent April 17 at the Universal Hilton.
"Every year we've done the ActorFest, attendees have filled out exit surveys saying they want more closeup time with the casting directors," said Marjorie Broder, marketing- advertising director at actors trade publication Back Stage West, which will host the event for a fifth consecutive year, this time with support from Volkswagen and General Cinema Theatres.
Seminars on the agenda include: working as a TV series

Raymond), Trina McGee Davis (Boy Meets World), Julie
Benz (Payne), Chris Owens (The X Files) and Adam
Springfield (Wishbone).
