This issue has three promos photos of Spender, all of which we've seen before: being undressed by Mulder and holding a gun in the ballroom from "Triangle," and brooding over Cassandra's empty bed from "One Son."

Also, those of us who have been stalking...er, following Chris' career in the media will immediately recognize the unidentified actor who is quoted in this passage as Chris:

Adding to the tease of the two-parter is the promise that not one, but two, series regulars will meet their demise. "Just before I got the script I got a message to call Carter's office," one of the doomed pair recalls. "He was very calm. He said, 'I've got something to tell you about the episode.' I said, 'Are you going to fire me?' and he said, 'No, but I am going to shoot you.'" Of course, history has shown that, as befits a supernatural series, death is not forever on THE X-FILES - rumour has it that at least one of the characters meeting their fate in the two-parter will live to fight (the future) another day.
