What has she done to get blood all over her hands? She tore off a sleeve, and suddenly she has blood on the backs of her fingers. There wasn't even that much blood on the sleeve itself. And then the sword has blood all over the blade, even though only the hilt and cross piece were pressed against the wound.
Compliments for remembering to keep the blood on Xena's hands when she goes to pick up Gabrielle.

All right, my friend the lighting designer. I know how fun it can be to have beams of light coming from different angles, and I excused it in Sins for the excellent dramatic effect, but honestly! Just before Ares appears in the meeting-place, there are two holes in the wall with light coming through at different angles. Watch it, bud!

Okay, she broke the chains on her right hand just at the manacle, but she has a length of chain hanging from it when she's tending to the guys she beat up.
