Cheng E-Kin
Yes, he�s the ruggedly suave chap who starred opposite
Chan Chung Ling in the hit TVB series Knot To Treasure.
He also played trusted chum to Sammi Cheng in popular
movie Feel 100%. Come end of the month, E-Kin�s ready to
woo the crowd again with his plum role as �Wind� in the
comic-inspired adventure flick, The Stormriders. So what
else is the Hong Kong heartthrob with his trademark

Life At A Glance
1988 Officially became an actor with HK-TVB, after being discovered at the finals of an annual singing contest organised by TVB.
1989 Became the compere of a children�s programme, Shuttle 430.
1991
Joined BMG as a recording artiste and released Cantonese
debut, Don�t Cry in the following year.
1993 Released 2nd album titled Sahara; and by his 3rd album On Stage (which reached the top spot on the Hong Kong IFPI chart), he was nicknamed by the Hong Kong media as the 5th Heavenly King. His popularity was not affected at all despite his openness about long-time actress girlfriend, Maggie Siu.
1994 Released 4th album Got to be Real, which again topped the Hong Kong IFPI chart. Also released his 5th album My Best Show in the same year. Acted with Chan Chung Ling in popular TVB series, Knot To Treasure.
1995
Held his first mini-concert called My Best Show in Hong
Kong. Traveled to Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore for a
promotional tour. Released his first EP titled Life
which achieved an impressive sales figure of over
100,000 copies.
1996 Released 6th album If It Rains (platinum CD sales), 2nd EP Discover - Life II and 1st Mandarin album Crazy For Love. With the popularity of E-Kin�s character as Chan Ho Lam in the Young and Dangerous movie series, as well the success of Feel 100% (which also starred Sammi Cheng and Gigi Leung), E-Kin's fast becoming one of the top idols in the region.
1997 Received a nomination for Best Actor at the Golden Horse Awards for his performance in Young and Dangerous. Released albums The Best Show II and E-Kin 13 as well as 3rd EP entitled Eternity.
1998 Held his first solo concert, E-Kin in Concert in February.
