The Southfork Ranch in Braddock County, Texas

Perhaps the most famous ranch in the world, Southfork is the place JR and all of the Ewings call home.  It is also home to the infamous swimming pool that met it's share of surprize occupants over the years.

In real life, many of the exterior scenes were shot right at Southfork.  It is also possible to visit the ranch yet today.  A stop well worth your while if traveling near Dallas.
