Okay, this is my first attempt at writing an X-Files fanfic. Apart from my lousy writing skills and poor vocabulary and grammer and everything else, I do love writing, and especially writing about my favourite characters. I have always imagined what if Mulder and Scully kissed each other by accident? But then, question is, under what circumstances? It took them six years to kiss each other, and it was only in what was considered Mulder's dream, and we just don't know if the dream was real. So my conclusion is that an outside force is needed to get them together. But then I'm only getting them to kiss (I'm sorry, but I DO NOT write things with adult content. Not that I'm underage, I'm turning 19, but I'm just not very comfortable in writing those stuff), so this outside force can't be lethal. Then an idea came to my mind: what about body possession? And having them wake up kissing each other? And that's what got me started. Well, everyone knows Mulder and Scully love each other. (Even Chris Carter said so himself) They just need to be pushed a little bit, maybe a kiss would do it?

Please note that the place Mystic Village is real. I picked that village/town up from a computer encyclopedia about places in the U.S. Well, I live in Canada, so I'm not as familiar about U.S. geography. All the information I have stated in the story about the village came from the statistics about that village in 1990, so it may not be exactly up to date.

I have to give my friend Jem a huge, huge thanks, for without her editing my story, it wouldn't even be readable. It just can't be done without her.
